Candace Mabry was born on a hot August day in Nashville, TN. A first generation college graduate, she received a BFA in Theatre from Western Kentucky University. She then moved to Atlanta & quickly began working on camera, as well as, the stage. Whether performing in drama or comedy, on stage or screen, Candace uncovers a vulnerable honesty in her roles that is too human to ignore. She invites viewers in to witness the depths & complexities of our relationships with one another and with ourselves. In her off time, Candace enjoys traveling & hiking, training her fur kids, and remodeling her mid-mod dream home with her fiancé, filmmaker Kapil Gandhi. The first film they made together, Fawn, won Best Film and Best Director of the ATL 48 Hour Film Project.
