Carl Monson was born Carl Jay Williams on September 2, 1932 in Los Angeles County, California. Monson began his career in show business at the prestigious Pasadena Playhouse's School of Theatre. In 1964 Carl founded the critically acclaimed invitational playhouse the Curtain Call Theater in North Hollywood, California with his first wife Laura Shelton. Moreover, Monson also wrote, directed, and/or produced several low-budget exploitation movies as well as acted in a few films. In addition, Carl also founded and worked out of Bumblebee Productions with his second wife Tricia Kross. He died of heart failure at age 55 on August 4, 1988.
