In 1968, Greg did a tour in Vietnam aboard the USS Steinaker (DD-863) a Navy destroyer and deployed on two other cruises to the Caribbean and North Atlantic respectively before being transferred to Fighter Squadron 101 at Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Greg had a niche for electronics and the evolving computer industry, learning computer programming while still in the Navy. Upon separation from active duty in 1971 and enlisting in the Naval Reserve, he started to work on Wall Street in the information technology field where he remained for the most part until his retirement as a Vice President at J.P. His mother didn't approve, so, out of respect for his mother he waited until he was 59 years old and after his retirement from J.P. Morgan Chase and the military.

Raised by my loving mother on the Southwest side of Detroit, Mi., I was subjected to crime and violence on a daily basis. But, I had bigger dreams and aspirations. I was an A+ student and attended the Boys Club of Detroit to avoid becoming a victim of the streets and/or a product of my environment. As a child, I watched lots of television and secretly dreamed of one day being a big-time movie star. Unfortunately, nothing within my purview gave me reason to believe that was remotely possible, so I suppressed it. I credit Detroit with providing me with tough skin, fearlessness, strength and determination to succeed in spite of my circumstances. We then moved to Fort Pierce, Florida to be closer to my aging Grandmother. This chapter represented my High School years. Surprisingly, this small coastal city, gave me an entirely different perspective on life. my new friends, helped smoothed my Detroit edges and allowed me to take my head off that swivel of violence and focus on even bigger dreams. By this time, Entrepreneurship was the goal. After graduation, I moved to Atlanta to attend college as an Engineering major. I succeeded in all my corporate and non-profit goals, which opened the door to achieving the dream of Entrepreneurship. I owned and operated a few businesses for nearly 20 years, giving me the opportunity to travel to many parts of the World, connecting with clients, colleagues and making new friends along the way. in July 2016, I sold my business. On November 12, 2016, just one month shy of my 50th Birthday, I had a thought. As I often would, I reflected on my first dream of acting. Living in Atlanta, the new Hollywood South, the dream felt attainable and accessible. I kicked the thought into high gear and took the steps necessary to finally pursuit my childhood dream. Four days later, I landed on the set of Greenleaf, a very popular TV series on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). Greenleaf, just happened to be one of my personal favorites. it was there that I found my true passion for acting and the entertainment industry. My journey has just begun.
