Ian Stout is an actor/writer/director and award-winning filmmaker with a Bachelors in Fine Arts, majoring in Digital Film and Video. In 2008 he co-founded Vertica Productions LLC. Ian's narrative film "To No End" won a Merit Award at the 2019 Canada Shorts Film Festival and was also a finalist in the Indie Shorts Fest part of the Los Angeles International Film Festival where Dre Slaman was Nominated for Best Actress and Carrie Strahle was Nominated for Best Makeup and Hairstyling. Ian's past work includes narrative films, award-winning documentaries, music videos, as well as promotional spots for web and television. He has framed up Moby, Ed Begley Jr and Ronald Lee Ermey (aka Gunny from Full Metal Jacket) to name a few. Ian was one of the cinematographers on "Not So Square", which became the winner of the American Documentary - POV Award as part of the 2011 Doc Challenge.

Ian Dickinson lives in the UK and Berlin, Germany. He was born (1963) in Plymouth, England, and grew up in St. Germans, a small village in South East Cornwall.
