Nishanthi Evani had a penchant for filmmaking and after graduating film school, worked as an assistant director in many films. She then worked as a creative director for an Ad film production where she produced and Directed many TVC and documentaries. She had an opportunity to act in a few films but her debut as a main lead was in Life Before wedding. She then pursued her passion in direction and went on to make several independent short films, some of them are on OTTs like Large Short Films etc.
