Ryan was Born Timothy Ryan Larson in Sacramento, CA and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. At the age of 11, he gained his first acting experience, portraying the title character, Khlestakov, in Nikolia Gogol's The Government Inspector. Many theatrical opportunities followed over the next few years, and Ryan found his passion in acting playing in school and local theatre productions of Grease, Find Me, Alice in Wonderland, Much Ado About Nothing, and others. He graduated Valedictorian from La Cueva High School in Albuquerque. Encouraged to continue his studies in academia, he moved to Los Angeles, where he attended the University of Southern California, eventually earning his major in Neuroscience. While at USC, he continued to act in theatre productions and student films. He took courses in film and television and theatre improvisation. He also competed on the Varsity track team, participated on the school Latin Dance team, and led the marching band as Drum Major. Ryan graduated Magna Cum Laude from USC and began preparing professionally for a career as an actor. He enrolled in a Meisner Technique school. Afterward, he studied audition technique, cold reading, and began working with career development coach AJ Riley. Soon after graduating, he began working in shorts, web series, and student films.
